Course Description
 

Our comprehensive first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) course provides essential skills for individuals who need training for work requirements or want to be prepared to respond to emergencies at home. This blended learning course includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and meets a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR.

Our course goes above and beyond similar courses on the market by providing not only the basic first aid and CPR skills, but also additional skills for Basic Life Support (BLS), such as pulse check, two-rescuer rescue breathing, two-rescuer CPR, how to use a BVM (Bag Valve Mask), and airway management for blunt force trauma. Additionally, we include AED protocols for both witnessed and un-witnessed arrest.

Duration: 14 to 16 hours with 8 hours online and 6 to 8 hours in person.

Certification: 3 year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR and AED.
